Yema and Neka (Yema e Neka)
2015 - 23 minutes
A documentary by Matteo Valsecchi
In collaboration with Il gioco degli specchi and Nereal

A small village in the mountains has come to a new life, thanks to nine Ethiopian boys and girls. They were all adopted by the same couple, who also hosts three adults with mental disorder. Two of the Ethiopian boys, Yema and Neka, run, win races, break records. They come from the African Highlands: they are light, fast, strong. Two new Italians who tell their own story and the story of their unique, incredible family.
