Born in Sondrio (Lombardy, Italy) on 22 December 1989. He graduated in Directing at the CISA in Lugano and in Screenwriting at the Civica in Milan.

In 2010 he won an award at the Centovalli Film Festival for the short film "No Voice, No Noise". He directed “The Clown” as part of initiative on the dangers of the web for children, co-financed by the Regione Lombardia. This short won an award at Young Frames 2011.

​

In 2012 his short film “The Circus of Chance”, co-produced by RSI, the Swiss television, was screened at the 65th Locarno Film Festival in an out-of-competition section.

 

In 2013 he was one of the assistant directors of the Italian director Pupi Avati for the film “A Golden Boy”, produced by Duea Film and Rai Cinema. 

Between 2013 and 2014 he directed “Darkness in My Eyes” and “In Michelangelo's Ferrara" with the participation of Elisabetta Antonioni.


In 2015 his documentary "Yema and Neka" was selected at various festivals, including the 63rd Trento Film Festival, Foggia Film Festival, Bergfilmfestival Salzburg. It was screened at the national conference on life after adoption, promoted by the Commission for Intercountry Adoption in collaboration with the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence, and won an honorable mention at the 34th Sport Movies & Tv - Milano International FICTS Fest. In the same year he was part of the international jury of the 29th Sondrio Festival.

 

In 2018 he directed the short film "The Statue" in collaboration with Nereal and under the patronage of the Museo Vincenzo Vela.

In 2024 he directed "The Poetry of Your Language", a documentary inspired to the book published by Erickson "Filololò Paddles in the Air. Alessia's Story" by Paolo Ghezzi and Emanuela Artini. The documentary was selected at the Lecce Film Fest - Festival del Cinema Invisibile.
